Wonderful Memory
I was messaging with my good friend Yucel the other day about including some images of him in a book I am working on when I came across this picture here, which I re-edited just for this post. 
I shot this when I lived in Manila, Philippines. Yucel and I had only met a couple weeks earlier, and he was kind enough to accompany me on a trip to the Department of Immigration to renew my visa. While we were waiting for the department to process my paperwork he toured me around the old walled city of Intramuros. It was a wonderful afternoon and I will long remember his kindness. Since that time he has grown to be a close and cherished friend and I hope he likes this new take on the photo.
